Maalox Plus Suspension

Description

Maalox Plus Suspension is for the treatment of gastritis, heartburn, acidity and flatulence. It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach as well as reducing the amount of gas in the stomach. The active ingredients are Aluminium hydroxide, Magnesium hydroxide and an antiflatulent agent simeticone.

Dosage

Shake the bottle well before using.

For children between 2-5 years old:

• Give one 5ml spoonful, up to three times a day, between 20 minutes to 1 hour after a meal.

For children between 5-12 years old:

• Give one 5ml spoonful, up to four times a day.

For children between 12-18 years old:

• Increase the dosage to two spoonful’s.

For adults:

• Adults take one or two 5ml spoonful’s 4 times a day, 20 minutes to an hour after meals and at bedtime.If you are pregnant or breast-feedingIf you are pregnant or breast-feeding consult your doctor before purchasing or taking this medicine.
