Description
Daktacort Cream treats fungal skin infections (sometimes called yeast infections) such as athlete’s foot, jock itch, ring worm and candidiasis by killing the overgrowing fungus. It also relieves the itching, burning or redness that can occur with this type of skin infection.
Daktacort cream contains an antifungal medicine called Miconazole and a mild anti-inflammatory steroid called Hydrocortisone. Miconazole breaks down the walls of fungal cells, killing them and stopping them from overgrowing more.
Apply Daktacort cream to the affected skin two to three times daily until the soreness, itchiness and/or inflammation are gone.
Do not use for more than 7 days. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor.
